Frequently Asked Questions:
Training to Walk a Marathon

How does one go about training to walk, rather than run, a marathon?

The training concepts relating to walking a marathon are virtually the same as found in State of the Art Marathon Training. In fact, many walkers have used the marathon training schedules found in the program to successfully complete their 26.2-mile events. I do recommend finding a coach and/or seek information regarding proper walking form.
